About Department        

Department of the Information Technology established in year 1999 at Government Polytechnic For Girls, Ahmedabad. Information Technology department offer undergraduate diploma program only for girls in Information Technology engineering. We are affiliated with Gujarat  Technological University (GTU) Ahmedabad. This undergraduate program prepare skilled undergraduates for successful careers in information technology engineering. Our curriculum mainly focused on emerging technologies in IT field.

We provide very good learning environment. Students acquire skills and knowledge through classrooms and well equipped laboratories. The department insures that students are motivated to acquire fundamental as well as advance knowledge in this continuously advancing field.
